Aright, I do have to say that the Apple iPhone makes me want to go back to my roots (growing up with Mac’s) and give up my PC and Linux life. I was in the local Apple store the other day with my wife and we looked and and demo’d the new phone. Just the feel and the usefulness of the devices matches it’s weight in gold. The device has a very nice built in software suite (just like on the normal Mac’s) that beats out the Treo’s and Blackberry’s of the world. My favourite feature so far is the two finger zoom functionality of the photo program. You just put your fingers diagonally and spread them outwards and it magically zooms. Breathtaking. I encourage all of you to get your butt to the local Apple store and get your hands on one. I only wish I could afford one and that it was on the Verizon Wireless network. Oh well, hopefully in a year or so it will be. P.S. My totally non tech mother agrees how cool this devices is and she doesn’t get overly excited about anything technology related.
